These awards are presented at the annual BCAO
Convention & Trade Show each May
Certificate of Achievement - An Ohio bowling proprietor who has demonstrated outstanding promotion and service to bowling on a local or state level.
Mike Hennessy Meritorious Service Award - Any person who has demonstrated outstanding service and dedication to bhe bowling industry in Ohio.
Sam Levine Award - Outstanding bowling journalist or broadcaster
Ohio Bowling Council Hall of Fame
Induction into the Ohio Bowling Council Hall of Fame takes place each November
Award for Superior Performance - This award is for those bowlers 40 years of age or older who have participated in certified bowling in Ohio for 10 years or more, with outstanding accomplishments in any USBC or Bowling Centers Assoication of Ohio certified leagues or tournaments. (Age and certification requirements do not apply to posthumous candidates)
Award for Meritirious Service - This award is for anyone contributing outstanding service to the general welfare and progress to the game of bowling in the State of Ohio for a period of 10 years. (Requirements for years of service do not apply for posthumous candidates)
Award as a Pioneer - This award is for anyone age 60 or over who has contributed outstanding service and/or have certified bowling accomplishments worthy of Superior Performance in the State of Ohio prior to 30 years ago. (Age & certification requirements do not apply to posthumous candidates) (Age requirement must be met as of January 15)
